Welded Plate Heat Exchanger (S-TYPE)
The HEATEX® S-type heat exchanger is made from a bundle of welded dimpled plates, in a cylindrical shell.
Like a shell and tubes exchanger, shell-side circulation can take place via a set of transversal baffles, or even parallel flow to the bundle using a sleeve. The junction between the shell and the bundle is made with a plate sheet, as on a tubular exchanger.
