Sales Manager

to a new component sales position located in Helsinki, Finland.

Mission 

We want to increase focus on the piping and safety components in our portfolio for the pharma-, food- and chemical industry. Your task is to build and bring the component sales to a whole new level in Finland. You will be responsible for long-term and systematic sales work of products like PTFE hoses for demanding conditions, rupture discs, breather valves, and flame arrestors as well as special piping in glass-lined and PTFE-lined steel. You will represent well-known brands such as Continental Disc Corporation (CDC), Markert Group (Marsoflex), Mersen, and De Dietrich Process Systems. 

As the sales manager, you will be responsible for the sales of your product portfolio to industrial customers throughout Finland. Succeeding in this role requires close collaboration with both customers and our suppliers in Central Europe. You will be our supplier’s representative in Finland. You are responsible for both acquiring new customers and maintaining and developing existing customer relationships. Your customers are typically maintenance professionals, production engineers, and piping designers.  

For us, curiosity, and a desire to understand and solve even the smallest challenges of our customers is important. We want to be close to our customers and meet them both face-to-face and virtually. Your work includes customer meetings and travels in Finland (a total of about 20-30 nights a year). The task requires a B-class driving license.

Innovation and scalability of In-Line reaction technology

In this webinar, Fluitec presents the new reaction calorimeter, which was developed in collaboration with a major pharmaceutical company. A simple set-up of a continuous calorimeter and a method to calculate the heat of reaction will be shown. The set-up comprises two controlled dosing systems, one jacketed tubular reactor with static mixers inside, one axial temperature sensor, two temperature sensors for the heat transfer medium side as well as a precise thermostat.  Fluitec in-line reaction systems in sterile technology are used for high requirements regarding GMP, surface quality, CIP/SIP and FDA.

New approach for single-use clarification of biological solutions 

Filtrox focuses on in-depth filtration, which means the removal of solid particles in the size of 0.1 to 10 microns, generally referred to as microfiltration. Typical microparticles are bacteria, yeast cells, cell fragments, or proteins. These particles are not visible to the human eye, but they make the liquid turbid so that one cannot see through. Through microfiltration, the liquid becomes clear. 

The audience will be acquainted with the first depth filter system using the advantages of the alluvial (specifically cake or precoat) filtration technology in a single-use format. We will highlight the filtration system that removes particles (e.g. cells, bacteria, yeast), impurities like HCP, DNA, and other turbid matter. The webinar topic will include the system which is fully scalable and fulfills all validation requirements. We will provide examples of some typical applications such as CHO cell removal and bacterial removal and an explanation of practical handling and scale-up.

Separation and efficiency of the wired mesh on the operational process plant

Launching sales office in Central Europe

Thurne Teknik AB, announces the opening of the new sales office in Poznań, Poland. The functions of the Gdansk office will be fully moved to Poznań during the autumn. With this launch, the company now spans 9 geographical countries around Europe, such as Poland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia with 5 sales offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Riga, and Poznań.

As Head of Sales for Poland market has been appointed Robert Trambacz, M. Sc. He has 30 years of experience in engineering practice related primarily to the selection of industrial equipment. He has earlier specialized in sales of safety equipment, valves and heat exchangers for chemical and power plant applications. “Technical advice is my way to sell equipment. First, I always listen to what are the needs of the customer and then offer a good and beneficial solution. On my free time I do Nordic Walking and I spend a lot of time in my garden. I am inherently optimistic as I believe that in each situation there are at least two solutions. I am very excited to work with Thurne Teknik AB and support our customers as well as our partners in the best way on Poland market”.

Robert will be joined in Poznań by a new colleague on September 1st.

The new Polish office is supported by CEO Martin Evers and Thurne Teknik AB Business development team, Henrik Ramm-Schmidt, and Ulf Stenerhag. “We are very excited about taking this next step on our journey. We have since a couple of years studied and planned this opportunity for geographically growth in Poland and for Thurne Teknik AB this truly represents a milestone in our strategy” says Mr. Stenerhag.
